Location Details:
While the position can be located at our Walla Walla or Richland locations, the training period must be completed in Walla Walla.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $16.28 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per wee with an opportunity to increase hours in the future. Must be able to work Mondays 8am-5pm, Tuesday-Thursday from 12:00pm-5:00pm. (Must be okay have different hours during the training period)

Responsibilities:
Client Check-In and Intake Appointments:
Greet and check in clients with a welcoming and friendly demeanor.
Schedule intake appointments, ensuring accurate and timely coordination with clinicians.
Payment Processing:
Accept and process client payments for services rendered.
Verify insurance information and address billing-related inquiries.
Phone Management:
Handle a high volume of incoming calls, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments.
Return voicemails, providing timely and professional responses.
Multitasking and Interruption Handling:
Must be able to manage interruptions and prioritize tasks effectively.
Multitask efficiently to handle phone calls, client check-ins, and administrative tasks simultaneously.
Collaboration and Team Support:
Assist the administrative director and other administrative assistant with various tasks as requested.
Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive and supportive work environment.
Conflict Resolution:
Must be able to handle conflicts that may arise during client interactions with empathy and professionalism.
Collaborate with the administrative team to address any challenging situations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or mental health setting.
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to handle conflicts with tact and diplomacy.
Proficient in basic computer skills and must have the ability to learn our EHR system and other softwares.
Working Conditions:
This role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort with constant interruptions and handling a high volume of phone calls is a necessity.
Must be dependable and flexible with work schedule.
