Position Description:

Clinical therapist will provide outpatient individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy to patients of Anchor Point Counseling PLLC. Clinical therapy services include treatment of adults, adolescents, children, couples and families. Treatment specialties may include: children, couples, trauma, EMDR, family, or other evidence-based treatment modalities.

Pay Range: $55,000-$78,000 depending on contracted number of hours and clinician experience

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy

  • Active, unrestricted license (LICSW, LMFT or LMHC) in the State of Washington (must be fully licensed).  A copy must be provided to Anchor Point Counseling PLLC. 

Other Qualification Preferences:

  • Prior experience in a private practice, agency, or similar setting providing counseling services.

  • At least one year' experience post-unrestricted licensure.

  • At least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, EMDR, etc.).

Hours:

Work hours and schedule may vary depending on patient need, employee need, and Anchor Point Counseling PLLC's needs. Patient sessions are held in the offices of Anchor Point Counseling PLLC as well as with the option to complete remote telehealth services depending on employee preference. Specific schedules and caseloads will be set at the time of contracting for employment. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site and/or remote clinical counseling services to patients of Anchor Point Counseling PLLC as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.   

  • Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required. 

  • Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics binding on or applicable to the services performed for Anchor Point Counseling PLLC. 

  • Respond to patients’ requests for service or calls within 24 business hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. or through the Anchor Point PLLC website.  Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients.   

  • Communicate with a patient’s treatment team and collateral contacts (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary. 

  • Timely complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Anchor Point Counseling PLLC or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion (by Friday of each week).

  • Keep patient files accurate and up to date. 

  • Attend mandatory staff meetings, supervisions and training as directed by Anchor Point Counseling PLLC. 

  • Complete regularly scheduled SMART goals for continual professional growth and development 

  • Conduct and regulate counseling services professionally to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of Anchor Point Counseling PLLC.  

  • Interact with co-workers in a way that reflects Anchor Point Counseling PLLC’s team values 

  • Other duties which may by assigned by Anchor Point Counseling PLLC.
